Mizuno Endure 24

Shoe Review by Steve Wise.

Having recieved my Mizuno Wave Hayate trail running shoes three weeks ago, I have only managed to wear them once. Removing them from the packaging I imeadiately loved the bluey red mottled colour – they are very atractive shoes & I was keen to run in them.

My first run was at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Hampshire and I couldn’t wait to put them on. Again, like the Mizuno Wave Sayonara shoes, they were a nice, comfortable fit. They felt very soft to the touch and were nice and light. Running in the parkrun, the shoes felt good. An hour after the official park run, I also ran a five mile loop of the park, unfortunately by the end of the run, I couldn’t wait to take the shoes off! I was now experiencing knee and ankle pain. This may have been a one off and I will trial them again soon to confirm. My initial thoughts however, are that a little more cushioning on the sole is needed then the shoes currently offer.
